Degrees
Granted
Myers University offers the
Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor of Science (B.S.),
Associate in Science (A.S.), and Associate in Arts (A.A.), in addition
to a number of Certificate programs.
The
Master's of Business Administration Degree (MBA)
The MBA Program at David N. Myers University is a dynamic and fast-paced program
for working professionals with a degree (or equivalent) in business. The MBA
is a flexible program that may be completed in 12, 18, or 24 months. Classes
are interactive, entrepreneurial in nature, and are designed around state-of-the
art theory and technology. Myers University offers a master's degree in business
management (MMG) in addition to its traditional MBA.
The Bachelor's Degree:
Bachelor of Science (B.S.)
The Bachelor of Science is a four-year program. The courses of the freshman
year enable students to gain a background in general business and to fulfill
the general education core. In
the sophomore year, students select a major and commence work in this field
of
specialization while finishing general core and background education courses,
a large part being the basic business courses which are prerequisites for further,
advanced study. During the junior and senior year, students are free
to devote most of their classroom time to courses within their fields of specialization.
The Associate Degree:
Associate in Science (A.S.) or Associate in Arts (A.A.)
The Associate Degrees are two-year programs. The first year concentrates
on the general education requirements (as in the four-year programs), but students
in the two-year programs begin work in their major fields of study sooner than
participants in the four-year programs. The sequence of courses taken
is more structured to allow for timely degree completion.
Certificate
Programs:
These programs of study are designed to provide students with technical or
professional skills only. Either they presume previous general training,
or they address a specific and limited need. Because of their brevity,
these programs have a specialized progression of course offerings which must
be carefully followed to ensure degree completion in a timely fashion with
the proper integration of knowledge and skills. |
