NOTIFICATION PROCEDURES AFTER ISSUING F-1 or J-1 VISA

Once F-1 or J-1 Visa has been approved, the student should submit the followings to the International Student Admissions Office:

1. PARTIAL TUITION FEE

Submit a non-refundable partial tuition payment (certified check, money order, credit card or money transfer in U.S. currency) of $300.00 upon obtaining a visa from U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consulate Office. (The partial tuition payment in the amount of $300.00 will be applied to the student’s first semester tuition cost at Myers University). If the student cancels his/her application, one half of the deposit will be retained to cover application processing expenses.

2. HOUSING APPLICATION

Housing Form - Myers University has signed a housing agreement with Days Inn & Suites in the City of Cleveland. To utilize this housing opportunity, select this link XXXXXXX to download the housing application form. Please complete and sign the form where indicated and send it to syap@myers.edu at least 15 days in advance of your arrival at Myers University. Note that a $20.00 non-refundable application fee and a $500.00 security deposit are required along with your housing application. Upon expiration of the housing contract, a full or partial security deposit will be returned to the student following a Days Inn & Suites room inspection. If room damages are found, repair costs will be deducted from the security deposit.

Arrival information - Students must provide Myers University the airline name, flight number and day and time of arrival at least 15 days in advance. A University staff member will be appointed to meet the student at the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.



 

 

 

 

 

Admission to Myers University does not assure access to all of the University's academic programs. Some academic programs have entrance requirements different from the University's admission requirements. Potential students should consult with the admissions staff or the academic program director concerning special entrance requirements.
