Arrival information
The student must provide Myers University the airline name, flight number,
day and time of arrival, at least 15 days in advance. A Myers staff member
will be appointed to meet the student at the airport.
Foreign Currency
All foreign currency can be exchanged for U.S currency at the Cleveland
airport. Please see the Airport’s Information Desk for further
assistance.
Airport Taxi
The Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is located 13 miles (approx.
22 minutes) from downtown Cleveland. The taxi fare varies between US$25.00
- US$30.00. A tip is normally expected by taxi drivers for services rendered.
Public Transportation (RTA)
The Rapid Transit train, located within the Cleveland Hopkins International
Airport, travels frequently to Tower City Station in downtown Cleveland.
A one-way ticket costs US$1.50. The RTA Transit service from the Cleveland
Hopkins Airport starts at 4:30 a.m. and ends the following day at 1:00

During winter months (December through February), high temperatures are
typically in the 30-degree Fahrenheit range, with low temperatures in
the 20-degree Fahrenheit range. During the cold spells, temperatures
can fall into the single-digit Fahrenheit range. In the summer (June
through August), high temperatures are typically in the 80-degree Fahrenheit
range and low temperatures are in the 60-degree Fahrenheit range.
