Admission to the University does not guarantee access to all of the University's academic programs. Some academic programs have entrance requirements different from the University's admissions requirements. Potential students should consult with the admissions staff or the academic program director concerning special entrance requirements. In some instances, students may be required to complete course work in Myers' College Achievement Program (C.A.P.) before pursuing the University's regular academic programs. The College Achievement Program offers credit-bearing course work, tutoring, and counseling for students who need to develop skills in order to succeed in regular collegiate coursework. Placement in this program is based on previous academic work and test scores as required by the admissions procedure. Enrollment in the College Achievement Program is limited.
