 | The
College Achievement Program is a TRIO program funded by the U.S. Department of
Education to help low-income, first-generation, and disabled Americans enter college
and graduate. | | The
Program was established 1976 and is currently funded under a federal grant. The
program provides currently enrolled students with advising, counseling services,
and basic skills courses in math, reading and writing. Students' placement in
the program is determined after an evaluation of admissions information (high
school transcripts, test scores, etc.), and placement testing in math, writing,
and reading. The College Achievement Program provides these services to over 200
students every year. | | ... | |
