Personal
Counselors meet with students regarding any personal and social concerns that
might interfere with the students' academic success. Individual and group sessions
are also offered. Referrals are made to appropriate outside services when necessary.
Career
Counselors meet with students to discuss possible interests in majors/careers.
Career development evaluations and assessments are administered. Peer
Counseling
Upperclassmen with a 2.5 g.p.a or higher are employed as peer
helpers. They assist the new students in making a successful adjustment to the
college experience by being a resource person and mentor. |
