Tuition Reduction Policy
To qualify for the 25% tuition reduction the student/applicant must be a currently employed commissioned law enforcement officer. Typically this would include local, state, county, and federal law enforcement officers. The applicant need not be a full-time employee of the law enforcement agency but must be currently employed. The Director of the Criminal Justice Program will resolve any questions relating to law enforcement employment. The student/applicant’s employer or supervisor must sign the Tuition Reduction form and provide the other necessary information. Completion of the form is the responsibility of the student. The forms are available at all University locations and with One-Stop. Failure to properly complete the form will result in the student not receiving the reduction for that term.

The reduction does not cover the following: application fees, text books, returned check fees, add/drop fees, withdrawal fees, lab fees, or interest on unpaid balances. The reduction will only be applicable if the student completes and successfully passes the course (with a C or better).
