Hello,
I wanted to use this letter to introduce (or re-introduce) myself to each
of you. I’m Scott Brantley and I
just took over as Director of the Criminal Justice (CJ) Program at Myers
University. I retired from the FBI
on January 9, 2004, after serving as a Special Agent for over 28 years, the last
20 as the Chief Division Counsel of the Cleveland Office.
My duties allowed me to lecture over the years at all levels of law
enforcement on various criminal justice/procedure matters. I wanted to to take
just a moment to tell you some things about the CJ program at Myers.
Myers is a fully accredited 4-year university that offers both a B.A and
a B.S. in Criminal Justice, as well as an Associate of Science degree. Students with appropriate law enforcement training may
receive 33 hours of block credit toward their degree (21 hours for the A.S.).
Police officers may also apply for a 25% reduction in tuition from Myers.
Courses are offered on-line, at the downtown campus, and also at our 6
Academic Centers located in Brecksville, Cleveland Heights, Eastlake, Lorain,
Parma Heights and Rocky River. Classes are offered both during the day and in
the evening (and occasionally on the weekend).
If you have any questions about these programs please do not hesitate to
call me or one of the Academic Centers for more information.
Sincerely,
Scott Brantley
