Important Information Regarding your PLUS Loan Application

If you have accepted a parent PLUS loan as part of your Financial Aid award, one of your parents will need to complete an application. Once an application has been submitted, the loan may be approved or denied by the lender based on the borrower's (i.e., the parent's) credit-worthiness. By clicking the following link, Parent borrowers may submit their application information to determine whether or not they will be approved for a PLUS Loan. If you are interested in using this service, please contact the Financial Aid Office at 216-361-2740 in order to obtain an access code. Once you have obtained an access code for PLUS loan Pre-Approval, please click here.

If you have completed the above step and been approved for a PLUS Loan, you may complete the remainder of the application below.

Please note that in order to successfully complete the PLUS application online, your parent will be required to provide their Federal PIN number!

If you have your Federal PIN and would like to complete a PLUS loan application online, click here.

If you do not have a Federal PIN, you can register for/retrieve it by clicking here.

It usually takes about three business days to receive your PIN once you request it. Once you have received it, you may return to this page to complete your PLUS application.
