Cost of Attendance

The Financial Aid Office provides an estimate of cost for attending David N. Myers University. The budget is made up of two types of costs – direct and indirect. The direct costs are tuition and fees. The indirect costs reflect average costs for educational-related living expenses including books, supplies, transportation and personal expenses. The budget examples listed below are based on an undergraduate student who is enrolled in 12 hours for both the fall and winter semesters. Dependency status also factors in to which budget is used to determine a student’s financial aid.

Accordingly, below you will see a standard budget for both an independent student and a dependent student. (A student’s dependency status is determined by the federal government through the filing of the FAFSA form.) However, individual student's costs may vary depending on lifestyle choices and personal living arrangements.

Financial Aid Budget:
The Financial Aid Office provides an estimate of cost for attending Myers University. The budget reflects both direct educational expenses (tuition, room and board) as well as indirect estimated costs such as books, transportation and personal expenses. It is important to note that this budget includes average indirect costs, and individual students' costs may vary depending on lifestyle choices and personal living arrangements. All students are awarded using the financial aid cost of attendance budget as defined above. This budget can be adjusted based on dependency status (independent or dependent), enrollment status (full-time or part-time), and degree program (Bachelor’s, Associate’s, etc.).

Tuition Payments:
Tuition charges are due in full no later than at the end of each semester. Any remaining balance will accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% monthly. Students may be prevented from registering for classes if they owe a balance, so it is very important to ensure that all charges will be paid. Students may use financial aid to cover some or all of these costs, but any remaining balance will be the responsibility of the student. Myers University also offers students the opportunity pay by installment. Students should contact the Business Office to make payment arrangements.
