Student
Financial Aid Programs
Financial
aid programs provide support for students
to help meet the costs of obtaining a college education. |
 |
Myers
University provides a comprehensive student financial assistance
program offering all major types of federal and state aid
programs. In addition, academic scholarship programs recognize
the achievements of entering freshmen, transfer, and continuing
students.
Financial aid is awarded based on financial need and is operated
within federal and state regulations and policies. (Financial need
is the difference between cost of attendance (student budget) and
student's/family contribution (EFC).
Campus-based aid programs are limited in funding. Therefore, the
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) results must
be received, correct and complete, by the Office of Financial
Aid no later than March 15 each year, to be given priority processing.
Follow the links to the left for further information on aid programs.

- IMPORTANT
NOTICE: For any
students currently receiving the Ohio Student Choice Grant, please
note that the Ohio Board of Regents has announced
that they are lowering this grant for the 2007-2008 award year. For
those students enrolled full time and who qualify for this grant
you will receive $330 per semester, instead of last year’s
$450. Again, this decision was made by the funding agency, the
Ohio Board
of Regents, based on the state budget, not by Myers University.
