Students whose undergraduate degrees are not in business should describe
in an essay to the Graduate
Business Admissions Committee their competencies
in the core areas of business administration. The Admissions Committee
will review all documentation related to the applicant’s academic
record, resume, and essay to determine her/his eligibility for admission
into the MBA program.
Additional coursework or competency tests may be required. Students may
be admitted into the Bridge Program before they can start their Graduate
Studies.
Bridge Program
Students seeking admittance into the graduate program (MBA and MMG) are
required to have a baccalaureate degree in a functional area of business.
Our programs are short in duration (30 credits) and therefore assume background
knowledge of business fundamentals. If the decision is to accept a non-business
student, the student will be accepted into the graduate program only on
a conditional basis. The student will enter into the Graduate Bridge Program.
For the MBA Program, five bridge courses will be required. AC 201, EC
201, AC 273, MG 200, and MK 201.
MMG students are required to take three undergraduate bridge courses:
MG 200, AC 201, and EC 201.
The office of Registrar will waive any undergraduate prerequisites for
the bridge program students.
A
completed application should be received no later than two weeks before
the start of the term for which you are applying. Otherwise, your application
will be considered for the next program start date.
