In
approximately 700 to 900 words, discuss the reasons you
wish to pursue a graduate business degree at Myers University.
You must address the following issues in your essay:
•
Why you believe you are prepared academically for graduate
study and what have been your academic accomplishments.
•
Your motivation and leadership qualities as well as your
previous business experience.
•
Your expectations of the graduate program and what you
hope to gain from the graduate coursework.
•
Your short-term and long-term goals and how a graduate
degree will help you complement and achieve those goals.
•
Add any other information you believe may be relevant in
evaluating your application.
The
Graduate Faculty will consider your essay responses to
determine acceptance into the graduate program along
with the other documentation submitted in the application
process. Attach the essay as a MS WORD document and email
the essay to onlineapplicationsgrad@myers.edu.

APPLICATION
PROCEDURES
The
Graduate Admissions Committee will evaluate
each applicant’s
total work history, level of job responsibility, accomplishments,
academic ability, recommendation letters, G.P.A., and
admission essay.
Upon
submission of this online application, the applicant
is required to send the following as MS Word attachments
via email (or US Mail for transcripts and letters of
recommendation):
1. The applicant essay (see above for guidelines)
2. An copy of his/her resume, with a list of PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT
3. Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
4. Two letters of recommendation from persons with knowledge of
the applicant's potential for success in a rigorous MBA program.

Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
A completed
application (with all attendant materials) should be
received no later than two weeks before the start of
the term for which you are applying. Otherwise, your
application will be considered for the next program start
date.
