Myers University
One Stop

The One-Stop Center is for incoming students who are not participating in the College Achievement Program (CAP) and provides mentoring and supportive services. With University-wide support, students enrolling at Myers will, proactively, receive personalized service to improve their success and Institutional satisfaction.

Students are assigned a Advisor-Mentor who will work closely with students to resolve any issues or concerns.

Participants are given the opportunity to receive one-on-one sessions; academic advising, classroom follow-up, and or to confer with Advisor-mentors in assisting with their program of learning. The Advisor-mentors are in constant contact with participants.

One-Stop is located at the Chester Hall Campus Room 171 and staff is available mornings, evenings, and Saturdays by special appointment. To take advantage of this University service, students are encouraged to contact One-Stop.

Peer Specialists
Peer Specialists are another link to the students' connection with the University. Peer specialists are students who have received extensive training in directing and informing fellow students of the University's policies and procedures. Peer Specialists, who are on duty, can be found in highly visible areas. The Peer Specialists work closely with One-Stop staff towards achieving students' success.
