Tasks
 
This tool is used to organize course projects. Instructors create the tasks.
 
1. 
Open a course Web site.
 
2. 
Click Tools on the course menu.
 
3. 
Select the Tasks link.
 
Adding tasks (instructors)
 
1. 
Click the Add Task button.
 
2. 
Enter the title of the task in the Task Title field.
 
3. 
Enter the description of the task in the Description field.
 
4. 
Set the due date.
 
5. 
Set the priority. Low, Normal, or High.
 
6. 
Set the status of the task.
 
7. 
Click Submit, otherwise click Cancel.
 
Sorting tasks
 
  Sort the tasks by clicking the Priority, Subject, Status, or Due Date.
 
Removing Tasks (instructors)
 
  Click Remove located next to the Modify button.
 
Viewing Details
 
  Click the task to view the details.
 
Modify a task
 
  Click the Modify button for the specific task.
