Open a Myers Network and e-mail Account
 
1.
You must be a staff/faculty  member or currently enrolled as a student to access the Myers network and  sign up for a FREE Myers e-mail account. 
 
 
 
  •  Your username will be your first initial of your first name and your last name (all lower case and no spcaes). Your password will be the password you choose.
 
  • Remember to hit the Submit button when you are finished filling in all the required fields on the form.
 
  • After submitting your online network and e-mail request  form, allow 72 hours for the activation of your account.

To access your Myers Microsoft Outlook e-mail account :
 
 
 
  • or go to  www.myers.edu and scroll to the menu at the bottom of the page.
 
  • Click on the "Log-In to Myers e-mail" link.

The Microsoft Outlook Web Access logon page will open. Click "CLICK HERE TO LOG-IN TO YOUR NEW MAIL ACCOUNT" to open the Log-In screen.

 
 
 
Windows XP: (Internet Explorer)
 

User Name: Input your username followed by @myers.local. Ex. "jsmith@myers.local".

Password: Input your password.

 
Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP: (Internet Explorer)
 

User Name: Input your username. Ex. "jsmith".

Password: Input your password

Domain: Input "ACADEMIC" as the domain name.

 
Mozilla & Mozilla Firefox, Netscape, Opera, and Safari Browsers:
 

User Name: Input your username. Ex. "jsmith".

Password: Input your password.

 

4.
Your e-mail account will open to the Inbox default setting.  You are now ready to send and receive e-mail. 

IMPORTANT:  Immediately enter your new e-mail address in the personal information area on your Blackboard course site.
