CAREER ASSESSMENT
The Center has career assessment tools that can help you determine a career
that is the best fit for you. You can then select classes at Myers University
that will best meet your career goals.
RESUME ASSISTANCE
A staff member will assist students and alumni with the development of a winning
resume.
CAREER READINESS
The center will prepare students and alumni for the workplace through various
career enhancement workshops, such as Behavioral Interviewing Skills, Strategies
to Job Searching, and the Power of Networking.
MOCK INTERVIEWS
Practice makes perfect. Polish your skills by making an appointment with the
center to have a personal mock interview before you go to
your actual interview with an employer.
INTERNSHIPS
The Internship program allows students to obtain work experience at local companies
related to their academic major. It is based on the philosophy that learning
extends beyond the classroom and the combination of classroom learning and
practical experience is a superior method of education. Credit hours towards
the student’s degree can be earned in these programs. ( Click

JOB POSTINGS
Myers University has established strong relationship with many companies in
our region. This gives the Center an opportunity to receive many job postings
on a continuous basis. Students and alumni who have registered with
Career Services receive notification about jobs in their employment
area of interest.

CAREER WEEK
Career Week workshops are held the week of the Spring Job Fair each academic
year. A workshop Schedule will be available at the Center and on-line via
announcements. All students are encouraged to attend workshops with selected
topics and speakers. The highlight of the week will be the Job Fair where
many companies will recruit Myers University students and alumni.
